The CEO journey: Finding success at every stage

This is an excellent presentation from McKinsey on how CEOs need to act at each stage of their journey: as aspiring CEOs, as new CEOs, as mid-term CEOs, and as outgoing CEOs looking to pass on the baton with a smooth and successful transition. The figure of $1 trillion as the market value lost every year through poor transitions – just for the S&P 1500 companies alone – does not surprise me at all and I cover this and how to solve this problem in my new book, Become a Successful First-Time CEO, out on Tuesday 5th March 2024.
